I'm just bored.
Could this shitfest of adoptables and 'exclusive species' please stop ?
My inbox is full of creatures created by others adopted by their friends, and thats all cool but its turning into a popularity contest. Bandwagon much ?
not to mention journals and polls but that finally calmed down.
also I dont get the deal, if a species is yours nobody else should wag around and go create one anyway without your permission anyway. A friend of mine is right , if you add 'exlusive' or 'rare' to something ppl are automatically going to WANT one and if your popular you might call it crowd control buuuut , good luck with that one.
Thers just one exclusion because apparently everyone really wants to have one of her dragons, what is downright annoying for her. I don't think I'v seen so many ppl jump on a dragon species before that wasn't official.
Is it so hard to make your own species ? To make something you have total control of yeez.
anyway, call me stupid or emotionless but I'm not interested in 'adopting' a creature from another artist unless it was specifically GIVEN to me. Sure I tried some petsites, but just like forums I give up on them, I'd rather be living my life, creating my world and drawing.
Why am I bothered by this ? well I'm not really bothered, I am just concerned. I'll tell you a lil story.
many years ago when I was 16 me and my best pally wrote a story, we merged our characters into a world they could bolth explore and venture on. While this was all great fun and a nice [choughLOL] story, by then end things weren't done. My head kept living in THAT world ,not mine, and her characters where overtaking mine with brutal force. hence I must have spend 2 years wasting on that world we bolth created. trying to get my own muses back. What turned to be a pain in the ass, but at least a successful one even if I took a whole way around it [lol fantasy world anyone ? ].
I don't want this happening anymore. That is why I don't want to 'adopt' creatures and characters that aren't truly mine, or at least I keep weary and careful about it.
